Volunteer Youth T-Ball or Soccer Coach – Spring 2024

SOCCER: The Y offers separate soccer leagues for players ages 4 – 12. Each league has games/practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 5:30pm -7:30pm, a uniform, equipment, and a trophy. Practices include specific drills to help children develop motor skills and improve coordination. Most importantly, YMCA sports leagues emphasize teamwork, fair play, self-confidence, and fun. All kids play! Volunteers coach our teams and are carefully trained to work with children, build skills, and encourage character development.

T-BALL: The YMCA’s  T-ball program is designed to be a developmental league for the youngest players. We teach kids ages 4-7 the necessary skills they need to master before moving on to play coach’s pitch, travel baseball or travel softball. Our youngest players learn to hit from a T in T-ball, and they learn to field and catch with the help of our talented coaches. Our YMCA T-ball, program meet the athlete where they are and builds their skills from there. Whether their first season is at age 4 or age 7, YMCA coaches will help them get in the game and enjoy their experience.
