What is Small Group Training (SGT)?
SGT is limited to no more than 8 people with 1 Coach. SGT is designed to provide more individualized instruction for each member. Your Coach will customize the workouts based on your fitness level, exercise experience and goals. Programs may include an assessment. They are crafted to help you progress safely toward your fitness goals. You will also learn proper form in order to build strength & endurance and increase mobility and flexibility safely. You can expect to receive more individualized attention while experiencing motivating & inspiring support from your group and coach.
Registration: Registration for Training sessions are limited to Foothills Area YMCA members.

Session: Ignite Mon/Wed @5:30pm with Piper
Ignite is a beginner friendly, mobility focused, interval style workout that helps people locate and help alleviate problems within the kinetic chain. The goal of this group is to strengthen the muscles around each kinetic chain point, and also teach spatial awareness of the body to further enhance each workout.

Stability-Weights-Energy-Aerobics-Tone
In a small group environment, you will engage in an exercise program that improves overall stability and mobility of the body, by incorporating movements to strengthen and enhance range of motion, balance, and other elements for daily activities.
This program includes:
- Resistance exercises to improve muscle development
- Muscle endurance
- Enhancing muscle tone
- Improving aerobic fitness
- Increased energy levels
