A Matter of Balance: Managing Concerns About Falls

A Workshop for Older Adults

In collaboration with the federal Administration for Community Living and the Foothills Area YMCA, as well as other partner agencies in rural communities throughout South Carolina, Clemson University is sponsoring an 8-session course for older adults whose fear of falling limits their social and physical activity. This proven program helps raise awareness of fall-safety, increase activity levels, and decrease the incidence of falls.

The workshop will take place November 2-30, 2021 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:00-3:00 pm at the Foothills Area YMCA Cottingham Campus conference room. Free to members & non-members. Registration is required.

Q&A SESSION:

For those interested to attend and fill out paperwork will take place on THURSDAY, October 28 at 3:00-3:30 pm at the Cottingham Campus. Registration is not required for this Q&A session.
