A Matter of Balance: Managing Concerns About Falls

A Workshop for Older Adults

In collaboration with the federal Administration for Community Living and the Foothills Area YMCA, as well as other partner agencies in rural communities throughout South Carolina, Clemson University is sponsoring an 8-session course for older adults whose fear of falling limits their social and physical activity. This proven program helps raise awareness of fall-safety, increase activity levels, and decrease the incidence of falls.

The workshop will take place at the Foothills Area YMCA Cottingham Campus conference room. Free to members & non-members. Registration is required.

Location: Foothills Area YMCA, Cottingham Campus conference room

Dates/times: November 28 through December 21, 2022 on Mondays & Wednesdays at 9:00-11:00 am

Cost: Free for members and non-members
