Youth T-ball League

Youth T-ball League

The YMCA’s T-ball program is a developmental league for young players ages 4–7, designed to teach the fundamental skills needed before advancing to coach pitch, travel baseball, or softball. Players learn to hit from a tee and develop basic fielding and catching skills with the guidance of supportive, experienced coaches. Whether your child is starting at age 4 or trying the sport for the first time at age 7, our program meets them where they are and helps them grow, build confidence, and enjoy the game.

Volunteer Coaching

YMCA T-ball is a developmental league for kids ages 4–7, focusing on the basic skills they need before moving on to coach pitch, travel baseball, or softball. Players learn to hit from a tee, field grounders, and catch—all with the guidance of positive, supportive coaches. Our program meets each child at their current skill level and helps them grow from there. Whether it’s their first season at age 4 or they’re joining at age 7, YMCA coaches are here to help them build confidence, learn the game, and have fun.
