Youth Girls Volleyball League
Fall 2026 Registration Now Open!
At the YMCA, our youth girls volleyball league is all about learning, teamwork, and having fun. Whether your child is picking up a volleyball for the first time or continuing to develop their skills, our coaches meet players at their skill level and help them build confidence on and off the court. Volleyball is a great sport for developing hand-eye coordination, communication, teamwork, and sportsmanship while keeping kids active in a positive environment.
Our youth girls volleyball program focuses on teaching the fundamentals of the game, including passing, serving, setting, hitting, and understanding team play. Every player will have the opportunity to learn, grow, and enjoy the game in a supportive YMCA atmosphere.

Volunteer Coaching
YMCA volleyball focuses on age-appropriate instruction that helps players develop volleyball skills, confidence, teamwork, and a love for the game. Our leagues are centered around learning, positive competition, and fun—every child gets the opportunity to participate and improve.
Volunteer coaches are essential to making this program possible. We provide resources and support to help coaches teach fundamentals, encourage teamwork, and create a positive experience for every player.
Interested in coaching?
- If registering a player, select “yes” when registering and
- Complete our Volunteer Coach Interest Form (just complete the form if you are not registering a player)
- Submitting a volunteer application does not guarantee selection. Head Coaches receive one free registration for a child on the team they coach. Coach credits are issued at the end of the season.

Silver- Youth Girls Volleyball Sponsorships
YMCA youth sports programs promote healthy kids, families, and communities by placing a priority on family involvement, healthy competition, the value of participation over winning, sportsmanship and team building. Parents are encouraged to be more than mere spectators by contributing their time as volunteer coaches, as well as being their child’s number one fan. All sports programs are based on our YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility and place a priority on family involvement, healthy competition, fair play, improving sports skills and creating a positive self-image.
Each year we offer youth sports leagues where businesses and fans can support teams with sponsorships. When you sponsor YMCA youth sports, you help the Y keep fees affordable and ensure that families who need a little extra financial assistance to participate can PLAY with the help of a YMCA scholarship.
