Youth Soccer League

Youth Soccer League

Soccer is a great choice for youth sports for many reasons. Because there is very little equipment needed, your investment as a parent isn’t a barrier to entry.  But more importantly, it’s a game with simple rules that children can grasp from an early age.

Our YMCA soccer program is a developmental league that meets the athlete where he or she is and builds their skills from there. Whether their first season is at age 4 or age 12, YMCA coaches will help them get in the game and enjoy their experience.

Playing organized sports is one of The Search Institute’s “Developmental Assets,” which are predictors for developing into a well-adjusted teen and adult.

Please note: there will be no registrations accepted after Friday August 2nd for the Fall 2024 season.

Sponsorship:

YMCA Sports are a great way to help youth become involved in activities that teach skills, promote healthy living and develop character.

Your donation provides scholarships for those that can’t afford our programs in hopes that all children have a chance to participate in a positive environment; they keep program fees affordable for our community; and provide funding to purchase supplies.

VIEW

YMCA youth sports programs promote healthy kids, families, and communities by placing a priority on family involvement, healthy competition, the value of participation over winning, sportsmanship and team building. Parents are encouraged to be more than mere spectators by contributing their time as volunteer coaches, as well as being their child’s number one fan. All sports programs are based on our YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility and place a priority on family involvement, healthy competition, fair play, improving sports skills and creating a positive self-image.

Each year we offer youth sports leagues where businesses and fans can support teams with sponsorships. When you sponsor YMCA youth sports, you help the Y keep fees affordable and ensure that families who need a little extra financial assistance to participate can PLAY with the help of a YMCA scholarship.
