Q: WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?

Monday-Thursday: 5:30am-9:30pm

Friday: 5:30am-8:00pm

Saturday: 7:00am-5:00pm

Sunday: 1:00pm-5:00pm

The pools will close 30 minutes prior to the rest of the facility.

Q: What is included in my membership?

Q: Is there a pool?

There is a 25 yard 6 lane lap pool. 

Q: WILL YOU HAVE SILVERSNEAKERS?

At this time the Cottingham Campus will not be a SilverSneakers partner. All members are welcome to apply for financial assistance in the event they cannot afford our standard membership dues. We will continue to look for partner opportunities that serve the community and it’s members while meeting the Ys basic needs.

Q: WHAT ARE YOUR CHILDWATCH HOURS AND WHO CAN USE CHILDWATCH?

Monday-Thursday: 8:00am-12:00noon & 4:30pm-8:00pm

Friday: 8:00am-12:00noon & 4:30-6:30pm

Saturday: 8:00am-12:00noon

Sunday: not available

Children age 6 weeks to 10 years old are able to use Childwatch. The maximum time limit for use of Childwatch is 90 minutes per day. Children must be on a family membership type to be in Childwatch.

Q: WILL YOU HAVE A SWIM TEAM?

Yes! We will have a youth swim team (ages 6-13) and a high school swim team. We will also have an adult MASTERS program as well. All swim team fees will be in addition to normal membership.

Q: AT WHAT AGE CAN MY CHILDREN USE THE FITNESS CENTER OR TAKE GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES?

Children age 10 and under are not permitted in the fitness center. Ages 11-12 may use the cardio machines (Treadmills, cycle bikes, etc.) once they have completed our Kids Cardio program with a YMCA staff member. After completion of the program, youth age 11-12 must still always be directly supervised by a parent or guardian. Children age 11-12 are not permitted to use any of the strength machines or free weights and are only permitted to do body weight exercises (pushups, crunches, etc.) in the stretching and core area of the fitness center.

Youth age 13-14 may use the selectorized strength machines and cardio machines once they complete our TeenQuest program with a YMCA staff member. After completion of the program, youth age 13-14 must still be supervised by a parent or guardian while in the fitness center. Youth age 13-14 are not permitted to do use any free weights (Barbells, Plate Loaded, Dumbbells).

Youth age 15 and older are permitted full use of the fitness center and are expected to follow YMCA fitness center guidelines.

Youth age 10 and older are permitted to take group exercise classes with a parent or guardian provided there is no use of weights in the class.
