May 2021 Group Ex Updates

We want to thank all our Group Ex participants for attending our classes! In our pursuit to meet your needs, we vary our class formats throughout the week for a cross-training experience. Please take opportunities to experience different classes and instructors.

The FAYMCA is saddened to announce that three of our instructors are leaving us at the end of April. Becca Moorhead, Merry Armstrong, and Jordan Paul, we thank you for contributing to the success of our Group Ex Program! We wish you well in all future endeavors. We will miss you!

Our Group Ex Schedule has been updated to reflect a few changes beginning May 3rd.

Halie’s Tuesday 8:00 AM Functional Fitness will move to Mondays at 8:00 AM. No classes will be held in the Functional Training Studio on Tuesday mornings at 8:00 AM.

Instructors are in place to take over classes previously taught by Becca M, Merry, and Jordan. To all instructors who have committed themselves to leading these classes, we are truly appreciative!

Alicia Palmere is now your instructor for Mondays and Wednesdays 6:30 PM BODYPUMP. Barbara Watts will soon be joining our BODYPUMP team. She will instruct Wednesday’s 10:00 AM and Friday’s 5:30 PM classes. While we are transitioning, some BODYPUMP classes will be Barbell Pump and will be led by instructors Sarah Antos and Laura Henry. This will also be the case when subs are needed.

Wednesday’s 10:00 am class has a name and format change from Functional Bootcamp to Functional Cardio. Shannon’s Friday HIIT and Cycling classes are switching times.
